Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 July 2026

Plain-language terms for using Chord. By joining the waitlist or using the product, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

Chord is a client-portal and work-management product operated by Fresh Pages Co., based in Singapore ("Chord", "we", "us"). These Terms govern your access to and use of our website and the Chord application (together, the "Service").

2. Accepting these terms

By joining the waitlist, creating an account, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm you can enter into a binding agreement and you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

3. Early access & changes

Chord is new and evolving. During early access, features may change, be added, or be removed, and the Service may occasionally be unavailable. We'll do our best to give notice of significant changes, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

4. Your account

  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for activity under your account.
  • Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including no unlawful, harmful, infringing, or abusive activity, no attempts to break or overload the Service, and no using it to send spam or store others' data without the right to do so.

6. Your content & your clients

You keep ownership of the content and data you put into Chord ("Your Content"), including information about your clients. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and consents to collect and share your clients' information with us, and for how you use the Service with them.

7. Payments

Some plans are or will be paid. Where they apply: fees are billed in advance for the period shown at checkout, are exclusive of applicable taxes, and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time and will retain access until the end of your current billing period. Payments are processed by third-party providers subject to their own terms. Founding pricing, where offered, applies for as long as your subscription remains active and uninterrupted.

8. Our intellectual property

Chord, including its software, design and branding, belongs to us. These Terms don't give you any ownership of the Service, only a limited, non-transferable right to use it while you comply with these Terms.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on and can connect to third-party services (for example, hosting, email delivery, and payment providers). We're not responsible for those services, which are governed by their own terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This is especially true during early access. We don't warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim (or SGD 100 if you haven't paid anything).

12. Your responsibility to us

You agree to cover reasonable losses we suffer arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms, including claims from your own clients relating to how you used the Service.

13. Suspension & termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if we need to protect the Service or others. Where reasonable, we'll give you a chance to export Your Content.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless local law requires otherwise.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as Chord develops. We'll update the "last updated" date and, for significant changes, let you know. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
